JOB STATEMENT:
The Packager plays a critical role in the direct production and quality control of Canada MasQ’s manufacturing.
Packagers represent the final step in the production flow prior to our product leaving our facility and being
shipped to our customers. Packagers place completed products into containers and prepare them for shipment
by weighing, labeling, and recording information about each package. Packagers must then ensure that the
prepared packages make it to their designated locations, such as loading zones or into inventory.
Packagers are responsible for ensuring that items make it safely to their destinations. They must securely seal
each container. They must be able to use hand tools, adhesives, padding, and other products to protect the
item. Packagers must keep a clean work area and observe all company safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing in any way, specific duties shall include:
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
• Conduct quality checks prior to packaging and report issues to Shift Supervisor
• Proper use of packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, padding, etc.,
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
• Identify and dispose of defective items
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow quality and safety procedures
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education
• Secondary School (Diploma)
Experience
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized with a thorough work process
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others on a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
