JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Control Office

JOB STATEMENT:

The Quality Control Officer plays a critical role in the quality of goods being manufactured and shipped from

Canada Masq Corporation. Quality control officers make sure completed work and/or work in progress

meets the requirements of the plans and specifications.

Quality Control Officers observe and uphold all company safety standards for CanadamasQ. Excellent

communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail. QCO’s will also be

required to complete regular inspections, set benchmarks, and review data. They are responsible to listen to

the concerns of workers and supervisors. gain further understanding of jobs and tasks. identify existing and

potential hazards

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing in any way, specific duties shall include:

• Interpret and review shop drawings and understand product deliverables

• Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications

and plan requirements

• Monitor overall production performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and

specification requirements

• Note and report on work that does not meet requirements

• Educate workers on the required standards

• Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality

• Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training

• Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling

for repairs

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

• B.S. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering

Experience

• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial position

• Work authorization.security clearance

• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies

• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
